NEW RADIO SINGLE - September 15, 2012

"As Long As Mercy Flows" began arriving at radio the first week of September. Rave reviews are coming in. Perry Edge Promotions states the single is receiving immediate ADDS to playlists and anticipates a big TOP 40.

FEAR NOT THE JOURNEY, the NEW album - August 20, 2011

We just finished everything for the NEW album, FEAR NOT THE JOURNEY. It is packed with eleven brand new songs. Only the Christmas song (a bonus track) has been heard before. Included on the album radio chart busters "In The Storm," "When The Hammer Struck The Nails," and "Blessings Are Mine". Other songs include "Mr. Law Met Mr. Grace," "As Long As Mercy Flows," "God's Mighty Hand," "Fear Not The Journey," "A Love To Die For," "If Jesus Comes Today" and "If You Look Real Close" which features Troye with friends, Crystal River. A Bonus Track just in time for the holidays is "Every Day Is Christmas." Release date is set for September. 

NEW RADIO SINGLE - March 8, 2011

"Blessings Are Mine," which features the lead vocal of Cheryl Dalton, is the latest single release from the forth coming album. The song was digitally shipped to radio this week. 



NASHVILLE SPIN's Christmas show is one hour packed with great Christmas music from Marty Raybon, Dalton Gang, Jeff & Sheri Easter, Gold City, LeFevre Quartet, Amy Grant, Crystal River, Palmetto State Quartet and Kenny Rogers. Sit back and enjoy host Tom Dalton along with very special guests. The Christmas special begins airing Thursday, December 23 and will continue to air in various radio markets through Christmas.

Tom's NASHVILLE SPIN is a brand NEW radio show that is aired every Thursday from noon til 1:00 on WVRY-FM 105.1 50,000 watt covering Nashville, WWGM-FM 93.1 Jackson, TN and WSIB-FM 93.9 Selmer, TN.
Production for a NASHVILLE SPIN television show is scheduled to begin early 2011. The home for the television show will be the Belmont Mansion at the head of Music Row in Nashville, TN.



Corey Frizzell guests on THE NASHVILLE SPIN - December 8, 2010

Artist to the stars, Corey Frizzell, is guest on THE NASHVILLE SPIN which airs Thursday, December 9 from noon until 1:00pm (cst). Corey, the son of Allen Frizzell, and nephew of David and Lefty Frizzell, has taken a slightly different path to the stars. Frizzell tells of connections with Marty Raybon, Tim McGraw's Dance Hall Doctors, George Jones, Willie Nelson, Keith Whitley and others. Host is Tom Dalton.

"In The Storm" Keeps It's Bullet - December 1, 2010

The latest single by the Dalton Gang, "In The Storm," has kept it's bullet another month--moving up more than 10 positions all trade publications. The song came in at #42 in Singing News and #32 in Christian Voice magazine.

Tom Dalton Hosts New Radio Show - November 1, 2010

NASHVILLE SPIN, a new one hour weekly radio show based in Nashville, is hosted by Tom Dalton and hits the airwaves November 4th.


The show will feature music and guests from country, southern gospel, bluegrass and christian country and have interview vignettes laced throughout. “This has been in the planning stages for a couple of years and with God’s help, it’s becoming a reality,” states Dalton.


Everybody from Marty Raybon and Jimmy Fortune to Gerald Crabb and Stella Parton could drop in for a visit.  Tom comments, “The excitement of a new show is contageous. Being in Nashville allows us a great talent pool to draw from. It is a perfect homebase for the show. We have had other shows in the past, but this will be our best effort to date. ”


The Nashville market is the first major market to showcase the Nashville Spin, which will air on the 50,000 watt Solid Gospel 105.1 (WVRY) each Thursday from noon till 1:00. It will also air on Thursdays in the same time slot in Jackson, Tn on WWGM-FM 93.1 and Selmer, TN on WSIB-FM 93.9. Nashville Spin’s syndication will soon be extended from the current four state area of southern Kentucky, middle and western Tennessee, eastern Arkansas and northern Mississippi to include the east coast and south to Florida.

SINGING NEWS HIT... - October 16, 2009

The latest single, "When The Hammer Struck The Nails," will appear on Singing News Top 80 national chart in the December 2009 issue. Not only is it a hit with radio, concert goers really like this one too. The song is the first release from the upcoming album, O HOW SWEET THE SOUND.

Caught in Historic Snowstorm - December 12, 2008

Natural Bridge State Park captured the Dalton Gang along with the Coleman Looper Family as they headed for Tennessee from Beattyville, KY's WLJC Television. Seven inches of snow and ice painted a beautiful postcard scene however we found it impossible to navigate the snowy roads and wound up spending the night in the Natural Bridge State Park's Hemlock Resort Lodge.... What a beautiful visit! Ever the optimist, Troye said, "I know the roads are bad but this is the most beautiful winter snow I've ever seen Papa." Tom adds, "Well, we had a great time in the Lord at WLJC and have heard from many folks of how they were blessed! See Ya'll again in May.... the 12th to be exact!"

enLighten on XM & Sirius - November 11, 2008

XM Radio’s enLighten Added To Sirius Satellite Radio (by Marlin Taylor).... WASHINGTON, DC - Shortly after Midnight on Wednesday morning, November 12, Southern Gospel enLighten joins the Sirius satellite radio lineup…and can be heard on Sirius channel 67 in addition to XM channel 34.

Marlin Taylor, enLighten's Chief Shepherd, states that no significant changes in the channel's programming are being planned, with Daniel Britt & Friends and Paul Heil's Gospel Greats program continuing to be heard at their same times.

enLighten includes Dalton Gang music in its playlist.

Michael Combs/DG share stage - October 5, 2008

Michael Combs, Gerald Sweatman (writer of Kingsmen hit "God Can Save Anybody Anywhere Any Time") and the Dalton Gang head for Carnesville, GA on October 18. Just 20 miles from the SC/GA state line, Refuge Baptist Camp is conveniently located off I-85. It offers golf, tennis, volleyball, motel, 600 seat chapel and a 2000 seat pavillion.

Arts Council Announces Concert - January 26, 2008

Marla Minter of the North Alabama Arts Council joined the Dalton Gang Thursday, January 24 to offically announce the upcoming Gospel Concert at the Jerry Brown Arts Festival. The announcement was made while the Daltons performed on an hour-long television special at WMTY. A media blitz is planned two weeks prior to the event. The second annual concert will featuring the Dalton Gang and it will be at the Bevill Center, Saturday, March 1 in Hamilton, AL.

Sims Records Releases Single - August 7, 2007
